Philanthropy

Continued Growth

Philanthropy at Delta ChiIn the past, Delta Chi has not been known for its dedication to philanthropic events. Lately, however, we have made an effort to make this our number one priority. We hosted a record setting six events last year and gave our first monetary donation, a total of $3,000, to our national philanthropy The V Foundation’s cancer research fund. We are participating in Delta Chi Region 8’s campaign of 8 for 80. A goal that aims to raise $80,000 for The V Foundation by the end of spring 2016. Our goal is to raise $10,000 of this campaign. Additionally, we challenged the Auburn chapter to a friendly fundraising competition to see who could raise the most before the kickoff of the Iron Bowl.

  • 960% growth of participation in service hours
  • 341% growth in recorded service hours in one year
  • 76% of chapter completed 7 hours or more
